AAA began as a deeply personal response to a real and pressing need. In 2015, one of our co-founders arrived in China as a young international student, full of excitement and ambition, but unfamiliar with the language or systems. What began as a dream year abroad quickly turned into a baptism by fire: medical emergencies, miscommunications, and the overwhelming task of navigating life in a new country without guidance.
During one of those early hospital visits, she met Jon Qiao, a compassionate local staff member whose support went far beyond professional duty. From translating medical jargon to offering calm in moments of crisis, Jon became her lifeline. Their friendship evolved into a shared mission: to build the support system they once wished they had.
In 2022, that vision expanded when Mei Lin, a seasoned logistics expert and cultural mediator, joined the founding team. With her experience supporting expat communities, hospitals, and government offices across China, Mei brought the operational strength and strategic insight to transform AAA into a full-scale concierge service.
Together, the three founders built AAA to offer 24/7 support thatβs personal, practical, and compassionate. Today, they are backed by a multilingual team with deep local insight and expertise in healthcare, logistics, business, and cultural integration.
